Clarity Staff Meeting Pt1

It created interesting discussions as most of the responses had no continuity within each question. This prompted us to question how and why we could collaboratively start to be 'deliberately clear' with our approach to learning/teaching.
We discussed they way we are using the 4 clarity questions (in english and Te Reo (Trudie/Louis) and offered suggestions:

We discussed they way we are using the 4 clarity questions (in english and Te Reo (Trudie/Louis) and offered suggestions:
- Have on TV throughout lessons
- Students to 'think/peer/share' their responses to the questions
- Posters
- Using the language of learning/clarity
We encouraged the staff to write down attributes/values (specific to learning) we would ideally see in a typical Te Puna School 'graduate'.
We then looked at the Teacher Capability Matrix - 'being clear about what is to be learnt' and identified ourselves within the matrix. we had a discussion about where we are headed within that particular matrix.
