Clarity Observation and feedback
What is it I want the children to learn?
When Learning and the path towards it are clear - motivation improves.
As part of my inquiry, this lesson had a focus of Clarity - 'being clear on what is to be learnt'
I sent my pre-ob sheet to Aroha and she then observed the lesson, giving me feedback on my focus goals: learning intentions, relevance
The feedback was facilitated through a 'practice analysis conversation' in which next learning steps were established (Clear LI's / self & peer assessment)
